Microsoft, Communications Manager, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles | September 2021- July 2025  

  • Led project management and content production to drive cross-team collaboration between threat intelligence, government affairs, marketing, and the C-Suite. 

  • Developed comprehensive internal and external communications strategies in collaboration with security and communications leadership teams, CELA (corporate external legal affairs), and marketing. 

  • Editor-in-Chief of Cyber Signals, Microsoft’s cyberthreat intelligence brief spotlighting the latest data, insights, and trending tactics and techniques from cybercriminals and nation-state threat actors.

  • Managed internal and external communications by drafting proactive and reactive messaging with product teams and key stakeholders. 

  • Collaborated with threat intelligence, government affairs, and marketing to enhance Microsoft's reputation as a security thought leader. 

  • Led partnership and engagement with the National Association of Black Journalists resulting in sponsorship opportunities and promotion of Microsoft’s AI initiatives and Copilots.

  • Created internal and external communications increasing awareness and familiarity of MITRE programs and initiatives including critical infrastructure, defense, aerospace and transportation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, COVID-19, the Great Power Competition, and election integrity. 

  • Develop and write scripts for video-based projects turning highly technical/scientific content into compelling copy.
